Weekly Orble Tech Digest :: December 2
December 2nd 2006 20:39
I'm a day late this week, but I always believed the whole "better late than never" mantra... so here goes!
This week I'll start out with A Geek Family and a post on UK folks wanting to ban DRM. This whole DRM thing is an issue I stay close to. I mix a LOT of trance and house music and I certainly don't need Microsoft or some other yuppie company telling me when I can and cannot share it.
I think DRM was a major part of Zunes terrible release over the past few weeks. Forcing someone to use your music provider through DRM and other dogy schemes just isn't going to cut it.
Moving on...
While I'm no fan of Microsoft, especially IE, Harsh over at System Attic has some very informative posts about the new version of Internet Explorer. Check out his review, along with a tweak he discovered.
Techy Bytes has a pretty slick post on the next generation of multimedia PC's by Acer. These things look sweet!
The Mac Zone gives us some Web 2.0 Advice relating to video and photo editing. Mdeleon, I don't mean to sound like a perv, but Mac made graphics like the one on that post make me horny.
Just sayin'...
Gadget Museum sounds the Windows Vista horn to let us know what's on the way.
And finally my fellow tech blogger over at TechBreak brings us a glimpse of what life could be like with a go-go gadget pen. This pen rocks!
That's it that's all, hope you had a ball!
Have a great weekend!
