FlyMow: Hovercraft Lawnmowers

November 27th 2006 17:59
Hovercraft Lawnmower

Who wants wheels these days when you can just fly? And who wants to navigate a clumsy lawnmower around the yard when you can just let it hover it's way through the unwanted grass?

Yeah that's right, lawnmowers now come in a non-wheeled model that is sure to turn some heads. With ten models to choose from you'll certainly find the FlyMow that fits you just right.

As quoted from the official webpage:

"Non grass collecting hover mowers offer the light, quick and easy way to mow your lawn. Ideal for mowing smaller lawns and difficult areas, easy to carry and store away.

Flymo’s Hover Collect range as featured on TV has everything you need to make gardening easier. They can collect and compact more grass for less emptying.

The unique Easi-Reel cable storage feature can store the mower cable away neat and tidy when not in use."

Hank Hill is not going to be happy about this!

RoboParade

While many froze and fought poor weather during the 2006 Thanksgiving parades, tech heads and world class geeks were warm and cozy indoors for the Thanksgiving RoboParade 2006.

The Parade video is about 10 minutes and shows just about every robo-float involved in the festive futuristic activities.

Enjoy!

The $550.00 Dell Laptop

Dell Inspiron 1501 Sells for $550.00 USD

That's right! For $550.00 USD you can get a fully loaded Dell Inspiron 1501 with all the media goodies and a fairly quick processor. The low cost laptop even comes with a 15.4 inch widescreen!

You'll be cranking through your files with an AMD Turion 64 and Windows XP. The notebook also comes with 2GB shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM and 80 GB Hard Drive.

I remember paying about $650.00 for a Dell Laptop a couple years back and this little baby looks a LOT better than what I got at the time. It's good to see that Dell still has it.

Check out the product page.
