New 80 GB iPod Video Media Player

When Zune launched its insulting "we killed your coolest toy" campaign I knew it was only a matter of time before Apple would come out swinging.
Apple did just that with the new 80 GB iPod video media player. The screen junkies will jump for joy with the new 2.5 inch 320 by 240 pixel TFT display. Apple also claims the new screens are 60% brighter, adding a new element of life to the king of the media players.
The 80 GB of space will hold about 20,000 songs. For video you can cram about 100 hours onto the tiny gadget.
Battery life seems to have been on the blueprints as well. The new iPod video will play for about 20 hours depending on volumes, screen use, and other energy draining actions.
I think this new gadget is worth a purchase, I just need to wait a bit. The $425.00 USD price tag is just not fitting my wallet right now.
One day...
